The phrase "you can close it" is literal. The game is frozen. The emulator is still running, but the virtual PS3 is dead. Your options are to close the game window or force-stop the emulation.
If your game is or "Intro," the crash dialog is expected behavior. You cannot fix it until the RPCS3 developers add support. Do not waste hours tweaking settings for Lair or MAG —they simply do not work yet.
Some games (notably God of War III , Beyond: Two Souls ) are labeled "Ingame" or "Intro" on the compatibility list but still crash frequently. The mainline RPCS3 build might not be enough.

The error is the emulator's way of admitting confusion, not necessarily condemning your game. In most cases, it is caused by incorrect per-game settings, shader compilation lag, or a missing firmware file.
Right-click your game in the RPCS3 list and select "Delete All Caches" .
