His mission: Infiltrate the notorious , a fortress-like penitentiary located deep in the desert. The prison was run not by the warden, but by a ghost—a shadowy figure known only as "The King." The King was running a sophisticated smuggling operation from inside, moving illegal weapons through the prison walls to the outside world. No one had ever seen The King’s face and lived to tell the tale.
Trapped in his own prison and stripped of his identity, Troy must fight to prove who he really is, protect a vulnerable doctor caught in the crossfire, and ultimately stage a breakout to reclaim his inheritance.
Upon entering, he discovers that the prison is not run by the warden or the guards, but by (Han Suk-kyu). Ik-ho, known as the "King" of the prison, has turned the facility into a base of operations for a massive crime syndicate. At night, the inmates "break out" to commit high-profile crimes—assassinations, robberies, and corporate espionage—and return to their cells by morning, providing them with the perfect alibi.
