This is the film's biggest weakness. Despite a massive budget, the CGI looks cheap and cartoony. The war sequences, tank blasts, and train explosions look like video game cutscenes from the early 2000s, breaking the immersion.

The story of Gadar 2 picks up seventeen years after the events of the first film. Tara Singh is living a peaceful life in Punjab with his wife, Sakeena, and their grown-up son, Charanjeet "Jeete" Singh. The peace is short-lived when Tara goes missing during a skirmish at the border. Believing his father is being held captive in Pakistan, Jeete slips across the border to rescue him. However, Jeete is captured by the vengeful Major General Hamid Iqbal, who still harbors a grudge against Tara Singh for the events of 1901. The film then follows Tara Singh’s explosive journey into Pakistan to save his son, leading to a climax that defines the essence of the franchise. Cast and Character Index
